App Review: AT&T my Wireless | MyATT
That is my Wireless from AT&T, you're able to manage your account via an app online or on the iPhone as opposed to going to the website, it's really nice, easy user interface, and it's free.
This is going to be a really quick app review, and this app is the AT&T app, I'm going to show you the icon, it's the AT&T, my wireless app, now we've read a lot about this app, when it first came out, all about it is at time AT&T, it's about time, you came out with this app, but we haven't seen a lot about it and I haven't seen any reviews on it, so I just wanted to do a review for it really quick.
This is a free app from the app store obviously, and what it does is? It lets you manage your AT&T Wireless account through an application on your iPhone as opposed to going to the website, so let's get right into it.
It's my wireless account, and what it does is? It pops up AT&T, and asks you about your Wireless number, save your Wireless number and then ask for your password, I'm going to put in my password here, then you press go, and once you get your password in and your wireless number, and I probably push in and put my wireless number in there, but I'll blur that out, it loads up and it gives you all this information. You can pay a bill, view your bill and pay, you can check your usage and update your features.
Let's go to Bill and pay, and it loads up, it gives you the amount of your last payment, the date of your last payment, the total amount due, you can view your full bolt view, full view here, full bill in PDF format, I haven't even tried that yet, but that's your bill detail, and you can make a payment.
If you go to make a payment, it gives you what the payment methods you have saved, I have a visa saved, there's new checking savings account, new credit and debit, then you can pay online, also if you go to the usage, down here, you can check your usage, not only for this number but for all your numbers, and that'll be loading, and it gives you your minutes used for your group, this is your group, nights and weekends, mobile, any rollover minutes that you might have used, you can go check out your data usage, and of course data usage is provided on individual line, so it's not a group thing, then you can go to features, and let's get back to usage, just for one second, and if you click individual, it's got all your individual phone numbers, there you can check your individual usage, this is mine, that's the number 580 minutes,480, unlimited 259 mobile, and I can check my data usage, 310, text 103 megabytes of unlimited internet, and you can go and check all your different lines there.
Now when you get over the features of AT&T, puts in some upsell capabilities here, so they tell you your data plan for your iPhone 3G, I've got 1500 text messages, and then you can add all these smart solutions, smart limits, roadside assistance, voice dial for postpaid family map, you can locate up to five people by GPS, so you can add different features. Then you go back to your home page and there's all three there, then it tells you eighteen T family map, so in essence, that's an advertisement for GPS tracking of family members, which would be great for kids. Once I put my daughter on my plan, and she doesn't have a prepaid plan, I'm probably going to do that, that way I know where she is, a little bit of Big Brother there, and then an ad for woman texting.
Like I said we read a lot about this app, when it first came out through all the different websites and all the different news agencies, that AT&T has their app out now, so you can manage your account, you can pay your account online, but we haven't seen an in-depth review on it, and I like this app, I could just as well go to the website, but the way that life is busy nowadays, sometimes you forget to pay your bill, it is the 14th I just paid my bill, that's due on the 15th, and I tried it out with this and it works quite well.
That is my Wireless from AT&T, you're able to manage your account via an app online or on the iPhone, and I know you can probably just go to Safari and do all this, but it's really nice, easy user interface, so that's my Wireless from AT, obviously it's free, go check it out, if it's something that might help you out, download it, if not, just keep doing it on the website or however you do it, I hope you enjoyed that quick review of my wireless app for AT&T, I think it's going to help me out but thanks for watching.
